    • Wreh-Wilson agreed to a one-year contract...

Wreh-Wilson agreed to a one-year contract extension with the Falcons on Friday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

Analysis: Wreh-Wilson was set to become a free agent upon the dawn of the new league year March 13, but the Falcons elected to bring him back on a "prove it deal." Having spent three years in both Tennessee and Atlanta since being drafted as a third-round pick out of Connecticut in 2013, Wreh-Wilson has struggled to develop into a reliable cover man at the professional level, though he has proven to be a competent special teams contributor. The 29-year-old will compete for a role on kickoff and punt coverage, while providing depth for a secondary that's otherwise undergone considerable turnover in the early offseason.

The Bears will let Parkey go when the 2019 league year begins, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Analysis: Parkey will make $3.5 million guaranteed on his 2019 contract despite his release, all that follows his miss in the playoffs that cost the Bears a chance at the NFC Championship Game. He should find plenty of suitors for his services in 2019.

The Chiefs signed Johnson on Friday, Brooke Pryor of The Kansas City Star reports.

Analysis: Johnson had a whirlwind of a season. He began the 2018 campaign as a starter on the Seahawks, but he suffered a hip injury and was eventually released with an injury settlement. He then spent time with the Bills, Browns and Cardinals before being dropped after Week 15. The Chiefs secondary definitely could use some reinforcements, so Johnson stands a solid chance of making the roster if he can stay healthy.

The Chiefs signed Manuel to a contract Friday, Brooke Pryor of The Kansas City Star reports.

Analysis: While Manuel has plenty of NFL experience on his resume, not much of it is good. With the Chiefs already rostering Patrick Mahomes and Chad Henne, the 28-year-old signal-caller will likely battle Chase Litton to earn a spot as a third quarterback on the 53-man roster, but the odds may be stacked against him.

The Chiefs signed Sammie Coates on Friday, Brooke Pryor of The Kansas City Star reports.

Analysis: Coates has found a new home after being released by the Texans in mid-December. While he has some NFL experience under his belt, the Chiefs have plenty of talent in the wide receiver group, so he will have his work cut out for him to latch on to the 53-man roster.
